LWR is a Texas limited liability corporation (LLC) formed in 1999 by two petrochemical companies to provide remediation, demolition and construction services at a former refinery that had been declared a state superfund site.
In Situ Soil & Groundwater RemediationThe project site is a former bulk fuel terminal which had an estimated release volume of gasoline and diesel fuel of over 350,000 gallons to soil and groundwater over its history.

Former Refinery Superfund SiteThis Superfund Site was defined by the TCEQ as the "#1 State Superfund Site in Texas". Five areas of concern were designated for cleanup.
Stormwater Basin Remediation/StabilizationLWR was contracted by a major oil refiner to stabilize impacted soil and previously stabilized sediment in an area formerly occupied by a stormwater retention basin.
Remediation and Demolition at Operating RefineryThe refinery contacted LWR to remediate approximately 7,500 cubic yards of oily sediments. .LWR proposed and implemented a solution to stabilize and recycle this waste.
