Former Refinery Superfund SiteColorado City, TX
This Superfund Site was defined by the TCEQ as the "#1 State Superfund Site in Texas". Remaining refinery tanks were believed to be a source of contamination found in the river at that time. For purposes of cleanup, five areas of concern were designated for cleanup.

This project is the largest ERH remediation project ever constructed world wide, and includes a diverse set of design/construction elements. This project was also recognized as the 2007 National Groundwater Association’s Outstanding Groundwater Remediation Project.
